This long-running, and popular, seminar, is aimed at recently appointed Directors of Sport, and those applying for these jobs in the future.    It considers the changing role of the Director of Sport in the independent sector.  It will also examine what constitutes a successful modern programme of sport and exercise and the communication of a compelling vision for an active school community.  The seminar will introduce the leadership and culture building dimensions of this position, and the ways in which the leader can engage followers.

The principal issues of school sport in the twenty first century will be considered, to enable participants to build an inclusive programme of sports performance and participation within a culture of health and fitness.

This content is usually delivered as a single, day-long seminar.   Until it is possible to resume this, it will be run as two separate sessions of two and a half hours each.  These can be attended separately, or in sequence.  Both will be interactive, and delivered through presentation, discussion and case studies.
