National Conference for Heads of Hockey in Schools - Thursday 20 November in Oxford

Dates & Venues

This Conference is the country’s principal assembly of the teachers who manage the game in schools. It enables them to come together with the leaders of the national game, to stay abreast of current developments and to provide feedback on issues that impact on the school game.

The Conference is delighted to welcome, for the first time, Rich Beer, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer at England Hockey, who will outline his thoughts on the game, and plans for the future and how these will impact schools. The discussion forum will provide an opportunity to engage in debate on the shape of the sector in years to come.

The afternoon will offer technical sessions, illustrated by video. Leading coaches will illustrate contemporary tactics and practice methods, enabling delegates to be confident that their programmes reflect the latest thinking at the top level of the game.
